As we have previously informed, In the last months we have been transitioning the domains from the Registry account to our Registrar account and we are close to the end of the operations.
We also have the initial statistics on the share of .al registrations and Host.al, a brand of ShqiperiaCom Shpk has more than 40% of the market share and is by far the biggest .al registrar with a large gap toward the other registrars.

Updates
1. New design!
Our old design looked old :)
We are updating our webpage design and you can see the new design in the https://my.host.al section as we write.
2. Blogs are coming
We are relaunching the blogs to keep you informed on what is happening around .al domains registration process and provide yet another interactive contact with our customers. Stay tuned for the next announcement and some interesting "happenings", court cases on .al domains etc.
3. All the Domains (That Whois none else has)
We have also fixed a bug that halted the update of all the domains registered under .al zone. The total number is about 10500 domains (December 2013) and you can find them all by visiting http://www.host.al/en/domain/showall .
We are improving the automation script to show a "date-of-registration" for all the domains listed as well.
It is quite interesting to see what other people are registering. Save some moments and visit the list as it includes endless domain-hacks and other nice domains and some of them are for sale as well.
4. Renew Section
Now you can renew domains directly from the control panel! Once the domains are listed you can easily renew the domains without the need of an invoice generation.
Resellers
In addition, we are operating in the market through different resellers (At the moment we have 3 resellers but there is room for more).
